Comfort in the U.S.

The living conditions in the US aren’t similar to the Russian ones. It’s a very comfortable environment for citizens.

In any public place there is an antiseptic. Americans understand that we are all human and our hands get dirty sometimes.

There is a restroom in any public place. For free. If not, you can go to any restaurant or cafe. Also there’re  vending machines with tampons in many women’s restrooms.

Also (not everywhere) there are not only women’s and men’s restrooms, but gender neutral restroom. I’m ready to open champagne every time I see them.

Water in cafes and restaurants is free. Well, because it’s water. It supports life in the body. By the way, everywhere it is served here with ice.  Of course, you can ask not to put ice. But in 9.9 out of 10 cases it will be ice in the glass.

You can easily buy what you need in American supermarket. This applies to eco-stuff, such as menstrual cups, bamboo toothbrushes, etc. I couldn’t find it in Russia easily.

No matter what city I come to, I see ramps, elevators and automatically opening doors for people with disabilities or people with limited mobility.
